Where are the materials sourced from?

Our fabrics are currently milled in China, and our garments are manufactured by trusted partners who share our commitment to quality, ethics, and technical excellence. We work closely with these teams to ensure every detail—from fabric development to final construction—is executed with precision and care. Our factory network maintains at least one of the following certifications: BSCI, WRAP, SCOPE, SA8000, FAMA or FAIRTRADE and is vetted for maintaining compliance with respect to the rules and regulations of each countries worker's rights.

What are the recommended washing instructions for your products?

For best results, machine wash your garment inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Tumble dry on a gentle setting and remove promptly; hang to finish. Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. A warm, gentle iron may be used if needed—just avoid printed areas. To maintain the integrity of the fabric, skip fabric softeners.

Do you offer a lifetime warranty on your products?

While we do not offer a lifetime warranty, we stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. If you experience a manufacturing defect, please reach out—we’re committed to making it right.

How can I ensure the perfect fit when ordering?

What measures are taken to ensure that your products maintain their quality over time?

Every J. Barber garment undergoes rigorous testing by UL to ensure it meets the highest standards for durability, colorfastness, and long-term performance. We use premium, performance-driven materials paired with reinforced stitching and meticulous construction—designed to withstand frequent washing and long hours of wear while maintaining their shape, structure, and elevated aesthetic.

Are your products sustainably made?

We believe the most sustainable garment is the one that doesn’t need to be replaced. While our fabrics are performance-driven and primarily polyester-based, they’re carefully selected for their durability, comfort, and easy care—reducing the need for frequent replacement. Every decision we make—from material choice to craftsmanship and design—is rooted in our commitment to longevity, responsible production, and a more thoughtful approach to consumption.

Do your jackets accommodate equipment like headlamp battery packs?

Yes. All of our jackets feature a discreet two-way access pocket at the back hip, designed specifically for clinicians who wear headlamps with battery packs. The pocket can accommodate a battery up to 3”x5”x1” in size. This hidden solution allows you to thread and secure cables internally utilizing our LumePass™ technology, minimizing clutter and maximizing comfort, so you can focus on your craft, not your cords.

U.S. Domestic Shipping

Standard shipping is free on orders over $250.
Orders under $250 will incur a flat-rate shipping fee calculated at checkout.
Orders typically ship within 2–4 business days.
Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

International Shipping

Effective 13 April 2026, we no longer offer International shipping.
For orders placed before 13 April 2026:
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen service.
- International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and import fees. All international sales are final- no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
- Transit times vary by destination and selected shipping method.
